Happy Thursday Members!
Keg-Side Chat #6 is upon us.
The Special Ruling This morning, NJBA officers, our lobbyist Bill Caruso, and myself met with representatives of the Guild on common interests regarding proposed legislation and how we can work together in the best interests of both organizations. It was a very productive conversation and we will continue to meet with them on a regular basis to discuss things we'd like to see addressed in the bills that have been introduced. We are using the results of the survey NJBA members took to set our priorities.
Over the next few weeks, we encourage you to reach out to your legislators, introduce yourself, and tell your story. If you are willing to host a meeting with your local and/or state elected officials, please let us know and we'll work with you to coordinate so we have the right folks available.
3rd Party Delivery Rules The ABC is expected to release rules on 3rd party delivery services for home delivery this Friday. NJBA and our counsel have been in communication with the ABC as they worked through this issue and will continue to work with them. As this is a complicated issue that deserves a deeper dive, we will be sending out a detailed separate alert. You can expect to see that in your inbox tomorrow.
Event Changes/Cancellations So let's say you register an event but it's cancelled and you want to alert the state? There's an email for that. You can alert the state to event changes or cancellations at limitedbrewerynotice@njoag.gov.

Who Am I, Part 6 "Nick, what are you eating?" I'm glad you asked. Collingswood has a bevy of Italian restaurants running the gamut on price, ambiance, and quality. I continue to search for the best chicken parm in the area.
The Next NJBA Meeting iS: Monday, October 10 at 3pm at Dr Brewlittle's. Thank you to those who volunteered to host the December meeting. We will be in touch as plans come together. We are still looking for anyone interested in hosting membership meetings throughout 2023. Membership meetings are generally the second Monday of even numbered months (February, April, June, August, October, December). Please let me know if you are interested.
