Highpoint Brewing Company, the brewers of Ramstein beer, is having its free monthly tour and tasting on August 11th from 2 to 4 pm. This month's beers available for tasting will be The Blonde Wheat, Classic Wheat, Golden Lager, and Amber Lager. Beer will be available for sale ( bring your growlers ) as well as t-shirts and glassware.


Long Vallery Brewing Company Hogs, Brews & Hogs Bike Fest and Pig Roast at Long Valley

Join Long Valley Pub & Brewery on Thursday, August 16, 4-9pm, for an evening of bikes, brews, music and great food. Brew master Joe will be manning the taps, and chef Ben manning the grill with a traditional pig roast, steamship roast of beef and their famous smoky ribs. Enjoy award-winning pints for only $2.00. Tickets sold in advance are only $20 and $25 at the door. Featuring: The Snake Oil Willie band and custom bike builders Doug Keim Creative Cycles and Design Worx. Rain date is Saturday, August 18 starting at 12:00.


Cricket Hill Brewing Company Join Cricket Hill and High Point at Stoudts Brewery Festival on August 25th

Stoudt's knows how to throw a party and has been doing so since 1991, the first year of the Great Eastern Invitational Microbrewery Festival. Considered by some to be the best of it's kind on the East coast, the event is being held three times in 2007. Top-notch breweries from around the country participate. The event is held in the spacious courtyards and Brewery Hall at Stoudt's Brewery in Adamstown, PA. With taster glass in hand, attendees stroll from one table to the next sampling some of the best craft brews that the industry has to offer. Another well-known part of this festival is Ed's "Best of the Wurst" German style buffet. Included in this are German sausages, pasta salad, German potato salad, red cabbage and six different varieties of Eddie's homemade bread, everyone of them containing one of our styles of beer.

There are two sessions - noon to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The ticket price is $27.00 per session. This includes a tasting glass, unlimited samplings of your favorite brews, the German style buffet, entertainment, and complimentary shuttle service from all the local motels. Attendees must be 21 years of age with valid I.D. Tickets are non-refundable. Call 717-484-4386 (press 1 for the proper extension). logo Harvest Moon Brewery Hosts Third Annual Jimmy D Memorial 5K Run/Walk

Harvest Moon Brewery/Cafe will be serving food and their Jimmy D's Firehouse Red after the 3rd annual Jimmy D 5k on Sunday, Septemeber 2nd. The James D'heron Memorial Foundation has been established to raise funds and awareness in order to help all of those who have fallen victim to fire; and to support in any way possible anyone pursuing fire service training and education.

Triumph Brewing Company Catch Barrel Tapping at Triumph

Join Triumph Brewing Company each month for a ceremonial barrel tapping. These German-style wooden barrels will pour forth new and unusual beers from somewhere deep inside the brewer's cave. The supply will be very limited (about ten gallons), so make sure to be on hand when the tap is hammered home.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sussex County Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Sussex County is a non-profit agency that provides special friendships to girls and boys, ages 6-15. A Big Brother or Big Sister acts as a mentor and role model. They can show the child that no matter how difficult things get at times, there is always someone special there for them. Rooted in a strong and solid past and guided by a clear mission of making a positive difference in the lives of children, BBBS of Sussex County focuses on growth and quality programming as it looks forward to being able to expand its mentoring programs and to provide a mentor for every Sussex County child in need. With the support of committed volunteers and the local community this vision can become a reality.

Long Valley Pub and Brewery Brew's 1000th Batch of Beer On the evening of Friday, May 11th, Long Valley Pub and Brewery will release its 1000th batch of beer, Batch 1000! Brewmaster Joe Saia will be there to pour the first glass and introduce his special anniversary brew. This unique beer will be released only one barrel at a time, and subsequent release dates will be announced. Long Valley Pub and Brewery also has a new culinary team and menu, so come and join us on this historic occasion to see what we've been brewing up! The event will take place around 7pm.

Long Valley Pub and Brewery Long Valley Pub and Brewery Brew's 1000th Batch of Beer

Long Valley Pub and Brewery Brew's 1000th Batch of Beer The Long Valley Pub and Brewery's 1000th batch of beer hit the fermenter in Mid February. It was an Imperial Stout that will weigh in at 9% abv and will be appropriately named BATCH 1000. The first offering of this special brew will be available some time in April. Also look for a barrel conditioned version of this brew in late April.

Starting Easter Sunday the Long Valley Pub and Brewery will be offering brunch from 11-3 o'clock and will include such items as omelets waffles, a beef carving station as well as fresh seafood, and of course their award winning beers. One price all you can eat!

The latter part of April Long Valley will be opening up our outdoor patio for dining and entertainment.

And finally as always Thursdays are $2.50 pint night with free live entertainment.
